Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Port Elizabeth for a Quality Assurance Specialist. The role involves performing quality checks on products and processes, implementing and monitoring quality control systems, and collaborating with teams to resolve quality issues. The specialist will also document quality assurance activities, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and work proactively to improve quality performance and adherence to standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Data Analysis, Problem-solving, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies
- Knowledge of Automotive Industry Standards, including OEM-specific requirements, is highly desirable
- Strong skills in Communication and Collaboration to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Familiarity with ISO standards and other regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Degree or diploma in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in a quality assurance role within the automotive or manufacturing sector is an asset
