Quality Engineer

Well established, large automotive manufacturer is looking for a qualified and experienced candidate to join their team and oversee quality within the manufacturing/production plant.

Requirements

Matric wtih Mathematics or Science
Relevant tertiary qualifications in quality would be advantageous
System/Process Auditor qualification
5yrs relevant Quality Assurance experience in the automotive industry is required
Experience with automotive ePPAP
Conversant with the PPAP and APQP processes, including related documentation (FMEA, Control Plan, Flow charts etc
Experience with manufacturing process audits
Working knowledge of QMS system standard IATF 16949
Knowledgeable with mechanical drawings and geometrical tolerancing
Advanced Excel skills

The chosen individual will be responsible for overseeing quality audits, compliance and quality administration within the manufacturing plant for the company.
