Specialist: Quality Management

The incumbent is to advise, train, manage and steer Plant Rosslyn with the implementation, monitoring and sustainability of the Quality Management System (QMS); whether ISO 9001:2015 based on the quality management principles described in ISO 9000 or future editions, in support of the Joint Management System (JMS) which includes topics such as (pFMEA / Q-Methods / Document Management (GDMS).

• Ensure that the QMS in Plant Rosslyn conforms to the requirements of ISO 9000 and ISO 9001 (current and future editions) by taking the responsibility for the communication, rollout and coordinating verification thereof.
• Ensure that the processes are delivering their intended outputs (incl. planning, communicating, measuring and monitoring of quality objectives)
• incl. championing the target management and enabler process for W9 W05 (3-level target agreement)
• monitoring ZMS for timely and accurate updates (home dept. i.e. TX-5-R department)
• Coordinate and report on the performance of the QMS (incl. Management Review) and on opportunities for improvement at all required levels (incl. top management) and show evidence of risk-based thinking when planning, reviewing and improving
• Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organisation
• Ensure that the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented
• Understand the organisation and its context, as well as the needs and expectations of interested parties
• Responsible for planning, allocation of competent auditors and adherence to the Audit Schedule (Process- and System- Audits)
• Responsible for the maintenance and user-support of IT-Tools used to effectively run the QMS (i.e. QUISS II, DMS, ZMS and future versions thereof)
• Regularly review the quality-related Procedural Instructions, Working Instructions, MPM-Sheets to ensure that all new requirements are incorporated and communicated (understanding the link to Process World and Stages or future systems).
• Accept responsibility for preparations of Internal- / External- QMS audits.
• Interact with auditors and certification body representatives (i.e. TV).
• Ensure JMS representatives are aware of their responsibilities towards QMS.

Qualification:

• Degree / National Diploma in Quality or Production Management (or similar)
• Certified ISO 9001:2015 Auditor (or latest current)
• Comply with process auditor qualification requirements as per VA 4.4.5/12 (Auditor Qualification and appointing of Auditors) or latest current
• Experience in Management Systems implementation
• Experience in auditing of quality systems and processes
• Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001, VDA quality standards and IATF 16949
• Knowledge of ISO 14000 requirements and auditing
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 requirements and auditing
• Must have training in project management and implementation of projects
• Detailed knowledge in statistical analysis methods and statistical process control (SPC)
• Detailed knowledge in using quality tools and problem-solving techniques
• German language skills would be an advantage due to the requirement to participate in the QMS Arbeitskreis (working committee).
