Role Purpose
To manage Landlord relationship end to end in Vodacom Tower Company
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Build and maintain good business relationships with landlords in line with Towerco objectives
Stakeholder engagement with relevant government bodies and associations to strategically position the Towerco to achieve its long-term objectives.
Implement the Towerco perfect lease strategy with the aim of maximising onward tenancies and cost containment in the long run
Timely renewal and renegotiation of rentals (focus on reduction of rentals)
To facilitate communication between Towerco, Landlord & Contractors.
Site Meetings and updates with Landlords
Dispute resolution ensuring business continuity and prevent site lockouts.
Manage ground rent direct expense budget
Support of site activities including upgrades through close coordination with landlords
Support in securing Right of Way for MNO
Support site acquisition efforts where needed
The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
Matric/Grade 12
Relevant 3 year Degree / National Diploma or 5 years relevant experience
Understanding of basic business principles
Legislation, i.e. Health and Safety Act
Knowledge of Property Policies, procedures and systems
Knowledge of Policies and procedures
3 - 5 years Negotiating experience
3 - 5 years working with property/base stations (Desirable)
