MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide services for the overall functioning of the Reception Area, receiving internal and external stakeholders at the Radiology Practices in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Provide a professional reception service
- Perform general office administration
- Emergency system coordination
- Admissions, bookings and authorisations
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Post Grade 12 qualification in Office Administration, or similar
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years experience in a receptionist role
- Experience in an medical environment
- Professional style of communication, applicable to both external and internal clients
- General office administration; for example filing, receiving of hand delivered documents at Reception
- Computer literacy - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP for ordering front office supplies (Shopping Carts)
- Proficiency in English
- Stock control principles
- Telephone etiquette principles
- Ability to prioritise tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality
- Proficient in handling office equipment, including telephone systems with multiple lines
