Receptionist position (5-month FTC)

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Receiving and transferring calls.
  • Booking of boardrooms.
  • Arranging for Boardrooms to be cleaned before and after meetings.
  • Ensuring the building is clean and neat, oversee cleaners.
  • Enrol visitors and staff as and when required on the system.
  • Assist with meeting room bookings and facilitation when necessary.
  • Daily feedback and check ins with Manager.
  • Monitoring and issue of stock including the detergents and cleaning chemicals.
  • Report any incidents / queries / occurrences immediately to Line Manager.
  • Safekeeping and responsibility of company assets i.e. laptop etc.
  • Counting of tea and coffee stock. (Give order lists to Administrator).

  • Organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain an organized workspace.
  • Time Management Skills - Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Computer Skills - Proficiency in using computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with email (Outlook) and other communication platforms.
  • Professional Phone Etiquette.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 essential.
  • Business and Administration Diploma/certificate highly advantageous.
  • Ms Office certification highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 5 years experience in a Receptionist position
  • Switchboard management experience essential;
  • Proficient with MS Office and Outlook;
  • General health and safety knowledge or experience advantageous.
