Our client is seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join their team as an Optical Assistant/Receptionist/Front Line Assistant. Requirements:
  • Computer Literacy. Proficiency in Optimax or similar programmes is essential to ensure smooth administration and invoicing processes.
  • A caring and empathetic approach to patient care is a must, as they strive to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.
  • Optometry Experience Essential for this role. This is mandatory, previous experience in optometry will be highly regarded as it demonstrates familiarity with the industry's practices and protocols.
  • Medical Aid Knowledge. A good understanding of medical aids and their processes will be advantageous in managing patient billing and claims effectively.
  • Bilingual Skills. Fluency in both English and Afrikaans is essential, enabling seamless communication with patient base.
  • Reliability and Punctuality. Being on time and dependable are crucial qualities that will ensure the smooth functioning of our practice and enhance patient trust.
