Graduate Internship- Recruitment Administrator

Job Summary:
As a Recruitment Administrator intern, you will provide support to our recruitment team in various aspects of the candidate sourcing and selection process. You will work closely with recruiters to identify qualified candidates, conduct initial screenings, and assist with administrative tasks. This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about recruitment strategies, develop strong communication skills, and gain exposure to diverse industries and job markets.

Duration: 1 month (flexible dates)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Location: Green Point, Cape Town (On-site)

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or completing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Completed Matric Certification
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and eagerness to contribute to the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in sourcing potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and professional networking platforms.
  • Review resumes and applications, and conduct initial screenings to assess candidate qualifications and suitability for open positions.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates to coordinate interview logistics.
  • Update and maintain candidate databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Support recruiters in conducting reference checks and verifying candidate information.
  • Assist with drafting and posting job descriptions on various platforms.
  • Contribute to the creation of recruitment marketing materials, including social media posts and blog articles.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify potential improvements in recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, such as data entry, document organization, and filing.
