Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement nutritionally balanced menus in line with Tsebo standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits of catering operations to ensure compliance with health, safety, and dietary standards.
- Provide expert advice on nutrition, special diets, and wellness initiatives for clients and staff.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers and Catering teams to optimize food quality, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
- Train and support catering staff on dietary requirements, portion control, and food safety practices.
- Monitor and evaluate menu performance, making adjustments based on feedback and nutritional analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends, legislation, and best practices in dietetics and food service.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports on nutritional compliance and menu development.
- Carry out orientation and induction for new employees and ensure continuous on-the-job training.
- Monitoring of hygiene standards within various units, including implementation of standards and internal audits
- Training of managers and other personnel on basic hygiene standards
- Assisting with wellness days and health promotions throughout the year, including developing new material, innovations, and handouts.

- Bachelors Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
- Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
- 35 years experience in dietetics within catering or healthcare.
- HACCP and Food Safety certification.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition science and menu planning.
- Code 08 license with own transport.
