WC Regional Manager

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Regional Manager with a strong background in security operations, facilities management, and cleaning services. The ideal candidate will have a security-focused background and will oversee and manage the operational performance of multiple facilities within a designated region. This role requires a strategic thinker with operational expertise to ensure the safe, secure, and efficient running of facilities while managing teams, contractors, and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Operations Oversight:
    • Manage the operations of multiple sites within the assigned region, ensuring that security, cleaning, and facilities management standards are met consistently.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies for all sites, ensuring alignment with company objectives, industry best practices, and compliance regulations.
  • Security Management:
    • Lead and supervise all security functions across the region, ensuring that all sites are secured and comply with internal and external security standards.
    • Oversee the management of security personnel, ensuring effective training, performance management, and adherence to security protocols.
    • Implement and monitor security systems, access control, surveillance, and emergency response procedures across facilities.
  • Facilities and Cleaning Services Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of cleaning and facilities services, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
    • Manage and coordinate maintenance schedules, repairs, and improvements to building infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facilities systems.
    • Ensure the facilities are compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional security, cleaning, and facilities staff.
    • Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members to maintain high service standards.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing coaching and development opportunities for the team.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage the regional operations budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective service delivery.
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers, ensuring the best quality and value for services and resources.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or service-related issues.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure that all services meet client expectations.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
    • Monitor and report on operational performance, presenting regular reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and any challenges.
    • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company policies, including health and safety regulations, and conduct audits as needed.
  • Emergency Response and Crisis Management:
    • Develop and implement emergency response procedures and crisis management plans across all facilities.
    • Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as required in the event of incidents or emergencies.
Skills And Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in security management, facilities management, or operations, with at least 3 years in a regional or managerial role.
    • Strong background in security operations, with a focus on managing teams, systems, and security protocols.
    • Experience in managing facilities and cleaning operations is highly desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems) and the ability to manage these systems across multiple sites.
    • Knowledge of building management systems (BMS), and maintenance procedures.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a geographically dispersed team.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels, including with clients and external contractors.
  • Budget and Financial Management:
    • Experience in managing budgets and cost control to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Ability to negotiate with vendors and suppliers to achieve cost-effective solutions.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and security regulations, and experience in implementing and enforcing these within a regional operations context.
    • Certification in security management (e.g., PSIRA or equivalent) is preferred.
