Regional Sales Manager at Khipu Networks

We have a vacancy for a Regional Sales Manager to manage our thriving sales team based in Cape Town. The successful applicants will be able to engage with prospects and customers, whether on the phone, face-to-face or written. The ability to position our products and solutions, as well as high-level on-going customer account management. Full training is given both internally and externally on our products and solution range. This is a challenging and varied role, and will only suit self-motivated individuals wishing to develop their sales abilities and earn a high salary through successful wins.   • Manage, develop and grow a team with in SA territories, Developing, mentoring and strengthening
  • Identify, lead, develop and close business opportunities with a handful of your own top tiered accounts
  • Strong account management skills to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with your team
  • Create and execute a plan to boost growth within your region
  • Align closely with key stakeholders Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Vendors to create and coordinate co-marketing strategies and joint-marketing plans with our Partners to accelerate demand generation
  • Bring hands-on-experience developing and executing multi-faceted initiatives, including joint messaging, webinars, content creation, field events, email campaigns, social media content and campaigns, web pages, and reference building
  • Ability to assist in negotiations with commercial proposals tenders, RFQ and contractual terms of business
  • Incentivising your team to invite their prospects and customers to attend KHIPU workshops, event, webinars
  • Excel at working with and developing relationships with our channel partners and distribution
  • Excel in target management with the team, ensure accurate forecasting
  • Be experienced and confident at working with senior level executives such as CEO, CTO, CIO, CISO, Security Officer and IT Directors, practicing SLIP
You
  • Previous managerial experience of a team
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of cybersecurity sales experience selling into Major accounts
  • Sales experience with our product range HP Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, SOC Services among others is desirable
  • Strong communication both written and verbal, including presentation skills to clients and partners
  • Very strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy working independently as well as managing a team, where hard work is rewarded
  • National travel required, with international travel when necessary
