Repair Centre Manager

Purpose Of The Job
  • The Repair Centre Manager is responsible for testing, repairing and installing lighting products.
  • The Repairs Centre Manager has to plan and execute the efficient running of the repairs department.
  • The Repairs Centre Manager reports to the Sales Manager.
Key Competencies
  • Managing the daily operations within the department.
  • Monitoring productivity of technicians.
  • Training and mentoring of staff.
  • Customer technical queries, meetings etc. as and when required.
  • Ensure that client relationships are maintained.
  • Repairs and/or warranty queries and/or call outs.
  • Monitor RMA Faulty product returns inspection and reports.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Maintain inventory of all necessary parts.
  • Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Manage scrapping process.
  • New product testing and reports.
  • On site diagnostics, fault finding and test reports.
  • Assist with building maintenance where required.
  • General duties and ad hoc tasks, projects and requests when required.
