- The Repair Centre Manager is responsible for testing, repairing and installing lighting products.
- The Repairs Centre Manager has to plan and execute the efficient running of the repairs department.
- The Repairs Centre Manager reports to the Sales Manager.
- Managing the daily operations within the department.
- Monitoring productivity of technicians.
- Training and mentoring of staff.
- Customer technical queries, meetings etc. as and when required.
- Ensure that client relationships are maintained.
- Repairs and/or warranty queries and/or call outs.
- Monitor RMA Faulty product returns inspection and reports.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Maintain inventory of all necessary parts.
- Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Manage scrapping process.
- New product testing and reports.
- On site diagnostics, fault finding and test reports.
- Assist with building maintenance where required.
- General duties and ad hoc tasks, projects and requests when required.
