Are you a detail-oriented financial analyst with a passion for transportation? We are seeking a talented Transport Reporting Controller/Analyst to join our dynamic team. Key responsibilities:
- Road Transport Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on various road transport activities, including daily road movement from multiple sites, load tracking and route optimization
- Missing Load Analysis: Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to missing loads, ensuring timely recovery or resolution
- Weight Discrepancy Analysis: Analyze weight discrepancies between loaded and unloaded vehicles, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective measures
- Data Management: Efficiently handle large volumes of transportation data, ensuring accuracy and integrity
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of transportation operations, including cost-benefit analysis and performance metrics
- Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools
- Ability to handle large datasets and work with complex spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the transportation industry (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
