Job requirements:
- Btech/tech with national diploma in electronics - this reason for this is that the technikons provide on hand board level exposure
- IT exposure to networking, servers, virtual script writing, management software usage, device programming – this is what I use for our test system configurations
- Exposure to Telecommunications technologies – advantages but not a must, products can be taught
- Exposure to power products, UPS, power supplies – advantages but not a must, products can be taught.
- The rest of the characteristics we can pick up in the interviews, like multi-tasking, team-player, self-motivated
