Introduction
We are looking to recruit a Retail Finance Manager I to work within the Clicks Retail Finance department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Woodstock, Cape Town and will report to Retail Finance Manager III: Commercial.
Job Description
Job Porpose
To enhance the financial health of the Clicks Group through the strategic planning and analysis of the Clicks Retail division in alignment with the groups vision and governance framework.
Job Objectives
- To coordinate and support the business during the planning and forecasting processes ensuring that risks and opportunities are well balanced.
- To develop strong business partnerships through which business objectives and overall budget adherence is achieved in an environment of transparent business dealings
- To provide financial simulations and assist in the development of business cases and feasibility for new projects.
- To drive strategic projects with financial insights through the use of excellent technology ability resulting in the creation of dashboards, scorecards or other reporting that can be transitioned to the necessary functional areas.
- To promote efficiency, productivity and profitability in all areas of the business by producing trend and insight analysis in order for the business to make insightful data driven decisions.
Job related knowledge and skills
- Highly analytical and very skilled individual
- Excellent IT skills including advanced Excel, familiarity with any ERP system and business analysis tools (SQL, Tableau or Power BI a strong plus)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Flexible and a team player
- Must be self-motivated, self-directed and be able to work under pressure in a fast paced team environment
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance experience, preferably in the Retail industry in a JSE Listed company
