Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Retail Store Manager located in Johannesburg. The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, managing store staff, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing retail policies and strategies. Additionally, the role involves maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment through loss prevention practices and fostering a positive and motivating workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with customers, staff, and stakeholders
- Experience in Store Management to oversee operations, staff performance, inventory, and revenue
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to ensure a secure and efficient business environment
- Basic understanding of financial management and budgeting
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Previous experience in retail or a related field is preferred
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage
