Job description for the Senior Financial Accountant:
- Creditors - review full function.
- Bank and cash (loading of payments, cash recons, etc.)
- Credit card recons
- Fuel card recons
- Cell phone account recons
- All intergroup recoveries and recons
- IFRS 16 lease rental journals and management
- External audit assistance
- Assisting with the preparations of branch accounts
- Maintenance of the FAR
- Overseeing month-end processes
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Ad hoc duties as required.
- FEC management
- Must have B Com degree qualification or equivalent.
- Preference will be given to CIMA candidates
- Strong people and communication skills
- Strong character and analytical skills
- Working experience in a related industry will be advantageous.
