Branch Manager

Description

The incumbent should be able to oversee the operations of the entire branch. Ultimately, a branch manager will manage resources and staff, develop, and attain sales goals, deliver customer service, grow the companys revenues, ensure safety, and health within the branch, create stock control procedures, engage in administrative duties and be responsible for overseeing the finances.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Logistics/Business Administration or relevant
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the Gas industry preferred.
  • Logistics & Stock skills
  • Branch admin, finance & SHEQ experience
  • Sales experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities

Logistics & Stock
  • Daily planning of routes for deliveries
  • Managing Drivers
  • Daily scanning & uploading of delivery notes.
  • Management of branch fleet vehicles
  • Creating stock control procedures
Branch Admin & SHEQ
  • Adhere, understand and communicate branch SOPs.
  • Daily Administration
  • Ensure good sales & operations communications.
  • HR staff leave forms and other HR documents to be filled in and sent to HQ for payroll.
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and processes are in place and being followed.
  • PO generation and sign-off for all requirements.
Financial
  • Petty cash control & monthly reports to be sent to HQ.
  • Invoice & quote generation
  • Responsible for credit notes, special product orders, stock adjustments and stock procurement.
  • Resolving customer inquiries
  • Liaising with sales representatives daily
  • Assisting with debtors staff
Sales
  • Manage sales staff.
  • Territory management
  • Establishing, maintaining and developing business relationships with current customers and prospective customers.
  • Research sources
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximising the Return on Time Investment for the territory.
