As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward. Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting growth, revenue, and other relevant performance targets.
- Growing the business by marketing products and services to enhance revenue and profitability in the current customer base.
- Ensuring understanding and maximization of customer profitability.
- Managing and negotiating customer pricing within set guidelines to achieve maximum profitability.
- Actively developing strategic relationships with key decision-makers within the customer base.
- Enhancing relationships with current and prospective clients by leveraging the credibility gained through knowledge and performance of the clients business environment and requirements.
- Achieving assigned budgets in designated strategic accounts.
- Achieving strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
- Completing strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
- Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of relevant sales account management experience.
- Minimum Qualification: Higher Certificate or similar relevant tertiary qualification (NQF5).
- Preferred Qualification: Diploma or similar relevant qualification (NQF6).
- Valid, unendorsed Code 8 drivers license.
- Strong understanding of client and market dynamics and requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of sales principles and processes.
- Computer literate: proficient at an Intermediate level in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
- Automotive industry experience highly advantageous
- Resilient, able to cope with pressure and challenging situations.
- Friendly, approachable
- Reliable and comfortable with a fast pace.
- Driven/Self-motivated/Self-development orientated
