R25000 – R40 000 per month plus commission

The sale of Online short courses (SLP’s) and Diplomas to corporate and government departments as well as bespoke custom-made courses. To achieve and exceed set sales targets and to manage and coordinate daily sales activities.

 

Educational requirements:

BA Degree or equivalent degree preferred with relevant experience

Must be extremely effective at initiating high-level contacts in sales and have strong presentation skills to close the sale.

Creativity and ingenuity in developing successful sales strategies; have a working knowledge of the industry along with a pulse on what is forthcoming.

Ability to generate leads and build business in a wide-open online market.

Possess growth-oriented philosophy and can manage growth responsibly.

Entrepreneurial-oriented philosophy

Excellent computer literacy is essential especially in CRM, MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.

Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.

Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

Understanding of the Higher Education skills training space.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

To convert enquiries to enrolments in order achieve agreed monthly target.

Developing and building client relationships that will lead to more referrals and enrolments. 

To achieve the desired sales outputs as directed by COO.

Carry out accurate and efficient sales related administration.

Display and apply extensive product knowledge.

Responsible selling by ensuring correct product information is supplied.

Researching the target market and finding companies and government departments to target.

Researching and identifying sales opportunity, generating leads, target identification and classification.

Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales deals.

Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.

Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the sales manager.

Progressing towards activity targets set by the COO.

Sales Target Achievement            

Continually developing the on-line brand and building increasing brand awareness in the marketplace.

Generating and seeking out potential new opportunities for sales.

Developing and managing relationships with potential products, influencers, and key stakeholders.

Managing proposals and submissions of proposals to corporate and government.

Provide strategic Input and review of new course proposals for online courses and how this will contribute to improved   sales

Monitoring competitors and reviewing the current offering considering competitors’ developments.

Participating in new business contract negotiations with COO.

Develop an understanding of the higher education regulatory framework and how it impacts product delivery, accreditation processes and best practice in the offering of online education.

Building a sale pipeline, acquiring new clients, researching new sales opportunities.

Assist management with compilation of annual revenue targets and programme pricing structures for corporate and government sales.

Develop a corporate marketing strategy to grow sales

Monitor sales tracking of ALL sales for government and corporate sales.

Research opportunities to showcase brands and convey findings to head office marketing.

Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities.

Develop and sustain strategic relationships with industry partners

Develop new sales leads and to build a database of potential clients.

Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement new sales strategies.

Meet with other associates and sales consultants to discuss innovative ways to effectively sell to customers.

Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.

Customer Service

Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships

Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.

Ensure a general knowledge of all courses, not only the ones under your direct control.

To be knowledgeable on product offerings and related industries.

Consult clients effectively onto the appropriate courses.

To ensure the outcome required by the client matches the product they are enrolling on.

To perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.

Professional sales approach is followed at all times including after sales support

Sales Administration

Correctly capture all client information and enquiries received on the applicable system (ICAS, CRM) as per agreed measures.

Accurately record daily sales figures.

To do follow ups as per agreed measures.

To keep an accurate daily and monthly scorecard of enrolments, enquiries and follow ups in order to show daily workflow.

To supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.

Demonstrate advanced sales knowledge and stay up to date on all company policies and procedures.

Any additional responsibilities as required from time to time
