Direct Sales Consultant - Digicall

ROLE SUMMARY
The Direct Sales Consultant will manage the online sales platform. They will also be required to identify gaps and challenges with proposed solutions, drive new sales and increase sales revenue. The incumbent will provide live chat support to customers, be assertive and flexible, and provide the appropriate advice.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum: Grade 12 or the equivalent NQF level 4
  • RE5 certificate
  • FAIS qualifications and credits
  • NCA Accredited
  • Continuous CPD points as legally required
EXPERIENCE
  • 3 to 5 years sales experience in a customer service/call centre environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Active Selling of Finance and Insurance Products via direct Customer Engagement through the existing Digital Portals.
  • Create enhanced measures and processes of increasing conversion rate of lead to sale thus improving incoming sales interactions.
  • Maintain and manage strong relationships with the Brand Conduct back-end functions i.e. confirming vehicle orders, vehicle payment, deal file & arranging delivery.
  • Display a high calibre of Sales orientation.
  • Administer and ensure compliance to all sales objectives by utilizing benchmark customer service processes.
  • Manage the sales of the various Financial related products in a professional manner.
  • Monitor all customer queries and ensure timely response to all issues.
  • Co-ordinate with customers and provide various options/campaign and services available by supplying detailed quotes including the required information through liaison with internal platforms on lead referrals and timely follow ups via weekly reports.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of all sales tools and resources.
  • Document and maintain all records of sales activities and provide updates by means of weekly reporting to the Direct Sales Team Leader.
  • Manage various documents for all sales sources efficiently.
  • Administer all underwriting processes and maintain records for same by ensuring adherence to FAIS/FICA and NCA requirements.
  • Participate in all departmental meetings and provide training when required.
  • Familiarise yourself with all new Company Products and Services by regularly attending training provided.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and services and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of their various products.
  • Provide training to Junior Direct Sales Consultants.
