We are looking for a Sales Manager South Africa to lead and accelerate sales growth across the SA market for I.P.P. The Sales Manager-South Africa will be responsible for developing the market, managing key accounts, and driving profitable growth for our flexible packaging solutions in South Africa.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive sales growth across South Africa for I.P.P's flexible packaging portfolio.
- Develop and execute a country-level sales strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new customers across food and non-food segments.
- Manage and grow key accounts, building long-term partnerships with clients.
- Own the full sales cycle, including pricing, negotiations, contract closure, and order generation.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and forecasts in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for management.
- Represent I.P.P in customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions as required.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of sales experience in the flexible packaging industry.
- Proven experience managing and growing sales within the South African market.
- Strong understanding of flexible packaging materials, structures, and applications.
- Demonstrated success in key account management, negotiation, and closing complex deals.
- Results-driven, commercially astute, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of CRM systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- Strong English communication skills are essential.
