Looking for a sales representative that will be responsible for the Western Cape Region.
Job requirements:
- Matric (agricultural diploma or similar tertiary qualification).
- A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in agricultural sales.
- Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans.
- Computer literacy (Word and Excel).
- A valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
- A self-motivated, energetic person who can work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The successful candidate will be dealing with customers and therefore must have strong negotiating skills.
- Established customer relationships in the agricultural field.
- Willing to travel.
Job responsibilities:
- Interact with potential customers – farmers, agro-processing plants, wineries and pack houses.
- Build and develop relationships with farm owners, managers, and other agricultural professionals – identify customers, set up appointments and close deals.
- Introduce customers to PBR Trading International and demonstrate our benefits to their agricultural practice.
- Attend sales meetings, submit weekly, monthly reports on sales activities within the area.
