Santam Direct has an opportunity for a Sales Support Consultant to join their Business Development team.
What will you do?
The incumbent will play a key role in supporting the Sales Team, Senior Business Development Manager and Operations Manager in Santam Direct.

- Sales support
- Project management of marketing campaigns, progress tracking and escalation on delays.
- Milestone communication to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Offer administration and business support in facilitating the completion of requests within published service level agreements.
- Co-ordinate and manage work group discussions/ meetings required in business development.
- Co-ordinate and facilitate marketing & branding requests from Advisers & Business Development Consultants.
- Responsible for internal project related communications and stakeholder management.
- Offer support to Business Development team regarding referral partner onboarding process.
- Administration support to Senior Management.
- Diary management of Senior Management team by scheduling appointments and following up on diary requests to ensure appropriate and constructive allocation of time.
- Back-up support Admin Coordinator as and when required.
- Travel Co-ordination:
- Co-ordinate travel arrangements of Business Development team.
- Ensure adherence to Santam group travel and procurement policies.
- Matric/ Grade 12
- Experience in engagement with key business and external partners across all levels (including senior levels) on behalf of the line manager / Senior BDM
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in project management and business reporting, including: extracting and verifying data from different sources, drafting and delivering reports to Management while adhering to strict deadlines as well as summarizing insights, results, and findings.
- Computer literate (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and One Drive).
- Project and/or process management skills.
- Knowledge of the Short-Term Insurance products and services and policies (advantageous).
- Knowledge of workflow system would be beneficial.
