Sales Lead (Tech Start-Up)

Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is desirable.
- 3-5 years experience , with at least 2 years team lead or managerial experience.
- Experience in lead generation and business development
- Hands on telephonic sales experience and the ability to demonstrate achievement in this environment.
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques and best practices.
- Capacity to manage various projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Ability to analyse data and trends and determine actionable steps required.
- Experience within the ecommerce and or technological industry would be an advantage.
- Familiarity and passion for the startup environment would be an advantage.
- Develop a robust sales strategy for the company and build on existing structures in place if possible.
- Manage and mentor the sales team to optimize their performance and ensure they meet given targets.
- Provide guidance and coaching where necessary to the sales team.
- Lead by example by being an active new business hunter alongside your team.
- Direct and coordinate all sales teams activities.
- Deal with and manage escalated partner queries from the sales team to ensure a
- positive partner experience.
- Coordinate with the HR department on the recruiting and training needs of the sales
- department.
- Prepare accurate and insightful reports and presentations to update management on
- sales progress.
- Analyse and keep abreast of competitors strategies and changes in the industry.
