Role Overview
The Sales Representative will be responsible for the day-to-day sales activities and client support in the designated area. This includes maintaining existing accounts, acquiring new customers, managing complaints, and contributing to overall business development efforts.

- Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales budgets in the area of responsibility.
- Build and sustain long-term customer relationships.
- Actively seek new business through cold calling and lead generation.
- Conduct market research to understand and target key clients.
- Provide customers with PPE solutions tailored to their operational needs.
- Assist clients with product selection and ensure accurate order placement.
- Manage and resolve client complaints promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the follow-through of each order from quotation to delivery and invoicing.
- Maintain and submit weekly and quarterly sales reports and presentations.
- Submit quotes and tenders accurately and timeously.
- Plan weekly activities efficiently to maximise productivity.
- Provide PPE training to customers and end-users at client level.
- Plan and attend customer appointments and site visitations regularly.
- Achieve annual and monthly budgets as agreed upon with management.
- Submit detailed weekly reports on daily sales activities and client interactions.
- Compile and submit monthly reports that include competitor analysis, sales performance, and customer insights.
- Attend all internal and external training sessions to build product knowledge and improve sales techniques.
- Generate quotations and ensure timely follow-up until stock is invoiced and delivered.
- Provide professional and solution-oriented customer service at all times.
- Attend and participate in weekly sales meetings with branch and sales management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Matric / Grade 12 essential, with Mathematics or Business Economics
- Sales and Marketing qualification / diploma ideally sought
- Occupational Health Courses would be advantageous
- Good references
- Computer literate: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Minimum of three years Sales experience
- Some PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) experience advantageous
- Solid sales track record
- Must be able to construct sales, product, and customer plans
- Be able to work independently and with people
- Honest, hard-working, and prepared to go the extra mile
- Willing to work abnormal hours occasionally
- Good negotiation, communication, administration, and presentation skills
- Requirement to meet deadlines and set goals
- Written communication and conceptualising skills
- Persistence in increasing market share
- Must be able to overcome challenges and solve problems
