Position: Junior Student Support Advisor
Role: The Junior Student Support Advisor is responsible for different student administration, engagement, experience and support activities within the Student Support Department (SSD). This is an entry level role within the Student Support Department (SSD).
Key Responsibilities
- Build product knowledge of all SANTS activities including applications, assessments, graduations, enrolments, workplace integrated learning, etc.
- Attending to and resolving of student inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Identifying student pain-points and attend to their issues kindly and patiently.
- Assist students to navigate different student engagement platforms including the Student Information System (SIS) and the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Attend to enquiries that come through the telephony systems (inbound and outbound calls).
- Escalate complex enquiries to Senior SSD Advisors and Team Leads.
- Attend to student applications on the student applications platform as allocated by the SSD Recruitment Team Lead.
- Support the SSD Applications team lead in administering the student enrolment process.
- Attend to different student administration activities as allocated by the different SSD team leaders.
- Support and shadow Senior SSD advisors as they carry out different activities within the department.
- Support SSD team leaders in preparing for and rolling out graduation ceremonies.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric or NQF Level 4 Diploma in Business Management, or Customer Service or Marketing.
- Proficiency and eloquence in English and more than two indigenous languages.
- Entry level MS Excel skills.
- Passion for customer service.
- Ambitious high performer.
Remuneration will be based on qualifications and experience in the relevant field.
