The all-inclusive remuneration package is negotiable between R961 360 to R1 131 011 per annum.
About You And The Position
Are you dynamic, motivated and passionate about providing high-quality developments and enhancements to ERP systems? The
Systems Division (SD), a section of the Information & Communication Technology Services (ICTS) department, is looking for a
senior or specialist developer to join the SAP team. SD is responsible for operations, performance and support for the universitys administrative systems, covering student, financial, research and human resource administration and is focused on ensuring that the university derives value from its administrative systems. SD is looking for a proactive, flexible and motivated senior or specialist developer with relevant skills and experience in SAP, that is used for Finance, HR and Plant Maintenance at the university. SD requires a person who is willing to collaborate with staff in the SAP support team and super users to gain knowledge about existing processes and technologies as well as constantly learn about new technologies that will improve current processes or the user experience. The main purpose of this position is to develop and maintain the application code (including delivered ERP code and customizations), producing high-quality results in a professional, efficient, and service-orientated manner.
Requirements
- At least ten years of relevant SAP ABAP development experience
- A relevant post-secondary qualification at NQF level 7, or NQF level 6 with one years additional relevant development
Advantageous:
- prior experience with and/or relevant certification in XML, JSON, Fiori, Web Services (using either SOAP or OData) and/or
- SAP process integration and/or SAP cloud integration
- Prior experience of a support pack implementation upgrade (SPI)
