Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Functional Consultant specializing in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 and Succession & Development to lead key streams of a broader Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation program. This role will be responsible for delivering full-cycle implementation, functional solution design, configuration, and integration of these modules, ensuring alignment with HR best practices and organizational talent strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 and Succession & Development modules.
- Conduct workshops, capture business requirements, and develop comprehensive functional specifications and solution design documents.
- Deliver full-cycle implementation of both modules, from blueprint through to post-go-live support.
- Configure and support Onboarding 2.0, including:
- New Hire Data Collection
- Compliance Forms & Custom Panels
- Offboarding and Process Flows
- Business Rules, Process Triggers, and Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
- Configure and support Succession & Development, including:
- Succession Planning, Talent Pools, Nominations, and Matrix Grids
- Position-Based Succession, Career Paths, and Development Plans
- Ensure seamless integration of:
- Onboarding 2.0 with Recruiting and Employee Central
- Succession & Development with Performance & Goals
- Facilitate training sessions, UAT, and knowledge transfer to HR teams and end users.
- Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and project stakeholders to ensure solution adoption and business alignment. Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Functional Consultant for SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 and Succession & Development
- Successfully completed at least 4 full-cycle implementations covering both modules
- Strong hands-on configuration experience in:
- Onboarding 2.0: Process Flows, Compliance Forms, Custom Panels, Role-Based Permissions, and Business Rules
- Succession & Development: Talent Pools, Matrix Grids, Nominations, Career Pathing, and Development Planning
- Proficient in system integration with Recruiting, Employee Central, Performance & Goals
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation and lead client engagements
- SAP Certified Application Associate SuccessFactors Onboarding 2.0 (with current Delta certification)
- SAP Certified Application Associate SuccessFactors Succession & Development (with current Delta certification)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to work in dynamic, global project environments
- Comfortable with agile delivery and collaborative tools such as JIRA or Confluence
