The main purpose of the job is to prevent theft wherever possible; prevent losses from badly and incorrectly loaded vehicles; minimise shrinkage; ensure that the premises is secure.
Job Description
- Checking all goods leaving the premises (shop/yard)
- Checking all sales and returns to supporting documentation
- Ensures credit customers sign (PODs) proof of delivery notes
- Ensures cash customers have paid for the goods
- Report any suspicious behaviour to management immediately
- Arrive timeously at post and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Complete vehicle checks before it enters the company to see what is on the vehicle
- Manage boom movement
- Completing the visitors book daily and accurately
- To uphold and promote the company values and culture
Grade 12
1 years relevant experience in hardware
