- Monitor and patrol premises regularly to maintain safety and security.
- Control access points and ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
- Report suspicious activities, hazards, and maintenance issues.
- Check and monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
- Complete daily security logs, reports, and incident documentation.
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or similar role (preferred).
- Registered/Certified Security Officer (PSIRA registration or equivalent, if applicable).
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and act quickly in emergencies.
- Basic knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and equipment (e.g., CCTV, alarms, radios).
- Physically fit and able to stand/walk for long periods.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
