What will you be doing?
- Providing technical support and insight to the Risk and Solvency assessment team.
- Ongoing monitoring of the entity’s current statutory and solvency position and economic capital.
- Perform the quarterly SAM calculation, including an analysis of change between reporting periods.
- Provide necessary technical support and insight to assist the risk manager in performing the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA). This includes but is not limited to performing a regular risk appetite assessment, solvency assessment and projection, stress and scenario testing and reverse stress testing.
- Calculate the Directors’ Valuation of MSTI and perform the necessary analysis of change between reporting periods.
- Maintain and develop required capital modelling capabilities and statistical models to support effective Risk and Solvency assessment.
- Liaising with colleagues from other departments within MSTI, the Head of the Actuarial Control Function and the wider THE CLIENT Group.
We will be looking at the following minimum requirements to be included in your cv:
- A degree in Actuarial Science (recently qualified or nearly qualified>
- SQL, Igloo, Microsoft Package
- Your SAM experience will be advantageous
- Matric
- Relevant experience wrt the above duties
