Senior Back End Developer

Senior Developer in the Automated Infrastructure Services team. Candidate must be our up-and-coming superstar in all our project initiatives. In order for you to be our new success story, your interest should be peaked by topics like the following:

• Automating network provisioning
• Implementing process modelling through code or workflow engines
• Transforming data structures for specific service implementations
• Creating system integration mechanisms for multiple backend environments
• Enabling software deployment through DevOps
• Working with a variety of toolsets, platforms, systems, and teams

To qualify for this position, we do have a few minimum requirements:

• IT degree, or Vendor certificates, or other formal training).
• 7+ years of IT work experience
• Practical knowledge of high-level programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, C#)
• Document processing (JSON/XML/YML with tooling like XPath, JQuery, XSLT)
• Source Control Management (Git)
• Linux skills
• Working with containers (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)

Knowledge and experience with some buzzword technologies/tools like:

• Infrastructure as Code: Ansible / Terraform
• DevOps: Jenkins / Gitlab CI
• Workflow Automation Software: Itential, Orchestration tools, UiPath
• Understanding/working with legacy systems and reading code written in these systems (e.g. written in Perl, Java, Bash)
• Database knowledge: MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Automated test frameworks: Robot, Selenium
• Networking basics will also be a big benefit:
• Basic routing and switching knowledge
• Experience with Cisco/Meraki/Fortinet toolset
• Knowledge of network protocols (YANG, NETCONF, RESTCONF)
