Job Description
Senior commercial and Agri underwriter.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients
- Preparing quotations
- Issuing new policies, renewals, and endorsements
- Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients, colleagues and internal stakeholders
- Recording details and information on the relevant systems
- General office assistance and administration
- Grade 12
- Fully computer literate (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- NQF 4 Short-term insurance certificate
- RE5 certificate
- Class of business
- Product training completed
- A minimum of 10 years short-term insurance experience in commercial lines
- Experience on Tial, Santam Policy Centre and OMI systems a requirement
- DOFA confirmation from FSCA
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good administration skills
- Planning and organising skills
- Time management skills
- Resilient with a good level of stress tolerance
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly client focused with good interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work without support and supervision.
