Looking for a senior construction manager in Johannesburg.
Job responsibilities:
- Accountable for site delivery and site management of the project.
- Ensuring the competence of construction resource (including subcontractors).
- Maintaining the site office and amenities.
- Responsible for understanding the scope of works and selecting and controlling the subcontractors.
- Preparing contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Co-ordination and control of planning, design, estimating, contracting and construction in the construction lifecycle. This will include directly managed resource/activities and Subcontractor resource/activities.
- Responsible for the development and/or application of processes to ensure the quality and configuration management of the Construction deliverables (including services/products provided by Subcontractors).
