Role Purpose/Business Unit

To effectively collect outstanding debt and prevent bad debt on the Vodacom Government, Corporate, Business, Merchant and Consumer collection portfolio. The successful candidate will also be required to ensure that the accounts are paid by payment due date and will be required to assist and empower other Vodacom Departments with Collections calls via Real- time Helpdesk in a Blended Contact Centre environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Minimizing bad debt
• Following up on non-payments
• Negotiating payments on accounts
• Make split-second decisions on locking and unlocking
• To collect on 100% of collections targets
• To liaise with third parties to resolve accounts disputes
• Ability to liaise with Managers, EHODs & Executives
• Work under extreme and constant pressure
• Ability to summarise account status at once glance and negotiate with customers telephonically
• Must have Contact centre and dialler Acumen
• Possess very strong and advanced negotiation skills
• Assist and empower internal staff with collections related calls

The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

• Matric Essential
• Diploma in Credit Management will be an advantage.
• 2 5 years of Credit Control Experience
• 1 Year Financial reconciliation Experience
• Experience in dealing with Third Parties to resolve accounts disputes
• Experience in dealing with EHODS, Exec Heads & other key stakeholders
