Delivery Schedule Coordination
- Receive and verify transporter schedules from the transport management system
- Cross-check accuracy and communicate delivery ETAs to store managers
- Enable stores to plan staff around incoming deliveries
- Retrieve store orders via the BOMM system
- Estimate pallet volumes per order
- Compile and share pallet spreadsheets (store name, code, order number, pallets) with transporters
- Advise on correct truck size for delivery based on pallet data
- Complete and send relevant collection documents for outsourced transport
- Serve as the liaison between stores, regional managers, and DC operations
- Update stakeholders on order status, special delivery requests, and any issues
- Resolve delivery-related queries
- Communicate directly with transport companies regarding orders and delivery times
- Confirm logistics details and follow up on outstanding or delayed deliveries
- Monitor daily order cut-off times
- Highlight and report late orders to regional and DC managers
- Begin planning immediately for stores that meet submission deadlines
- Generate and merge store orders via BOMM system
- Print and submit orders for picking
