Are you a seasoned .NET API Developer with a passion for building robust, scalable solutions? Our client, a leading bank based in Sandton, is seeking a Senior Developer to join their high-performing team on a 6-month contract with the potential for renewal. This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility of remote and office-based work while contributing to cutting-edge financial and investment technology projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful API's and integration solutions (Kafka, SOAP, Rest, Batch, Persistence).
- Implement SOLID principles and best practices in software architecture and design.
- Work extensively with MS SQL (indexing, stored procedures, optimization, troubleshooting).
- Address performance bottlenecks and ensure high-availability solutions.
- Collaborate in a microservices and event-driven architecture environment.
- Develop with containerisation principles (transient design, orchestration platforms, container runtimes).
- Leverage Azure cloud services: AKS, Azure Storage, KeyVault, Container Registry, App Gateway, Container Apps.
- Implement secure authentication (OAuth2) and logging best practices.
- Write and maintain unit tests (xUnit) and manage projects via Azure DevOps.
