Vacancy for a senior IT administrator in Johannesburg.
Job responsibilities:
- You shall be responsible for working closely with the IT Department, Mobile Solutions Development Team, Solutions Development Team, Business Development Team and Project Teams to provide Network and Office/Project IT services, support and assistance as and when required.
- Installing network and computer systems.
- Maintaining, repairing and upgrading network and computer systems.
- Diagnosing and fixing problems or potential problems with the network and its hardware, software and systems
- Monitoring network and systems to improve performance
- General Office IT and Network Support and Assistance
- General Project IT and Network Support and Assistance
- Perform any other specific and ad hoc IT and network duties as assigned to the employee.
- Secondment to client projects as and when required (e.g. Broadband Infraco), whilst still executing core functions within the Neo Group of Companies
- Managing and implementing Hyper V Servers
- Implementing Network Solutions for Clients
- Managing client specific servers / computers
- Managing specific IT networks
- Compiling of Reports
- Ensuring Company Policies are adhere to
- Managing and implementing Office 365
- Managing and implementing Skype for Business
- Managing and implementing Sharepoint
- Adhoc Head Office Support.
Job requirements:
- Working hours shall be from 8am to 5pm, although the position entails working outside of normal working hours to cater for business, client and project needs
- Experience and relevant qualification a must
- Own car and able to drive (must have drivers licence)
- Based in Johannesburg/ Sandton and Woodmead
- Salary 240 - 280K depending on experience and credentials
