Senior Manager

An opportunity exists in the Tax Consulting Division of Mazars; an international professional services firm, based at Mazars House in Johannesburg. Independently acquires and leads assignments in a specialised area of tax; to carry out research relating to a variety of tax issues (covering the full spectrum of taxes); to compile appropriate reports/opinions/letters and other documents; to review reports/opinions/letters and other documents prepared by tax consultants and senior tax consultants; to liaise with clients, their advisors and SARS where appropriate; actively engaged in business development opportunities to existing and potential clients. To manage and lead a team of specialists. A sound demonstrated knowledge of mining, international tax and transfer pricing experience would be an advantage. To assist with ensuring deliverables are met and to grow the tax consulting team. To be considered, solid experience in a similar role is an absolute must.
