To assume ultimate accountability for East and West warehouse structures and to develop and optimise the business practices required to ensure the effective and efficient control of outbound logistics, accurate quality and quantity of inventory, reduced risk, client satisfaction and compliance to relevant policy and regulatory requirements.
Key Performance Areas
- Overall performance management of operations at East and West Warehouses at Centurion.
- Compliance to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Regulations and policies.
- Improving profitability of the East Warehouse by managing budget expenditure within established parameters.
- Total compliance to Quality Assurance and Regulatory requirements.
- Establishing and maintaining good Client and Customer relations (Internally and Externally)
- Management of Inventory Outbound activities.
- Bachelors Degree (NQF Level 7) in related field.
- Up to 8 years of experience in a similar environment with at least 5 years operational leadership or specialist experience.
- Working knowledge of the Pharmacy act / Medicines and Related substances act.
- Knowledge of Good Wholesale / Distribution Practice.
- Planning, organization skills.
- Decisionmaking, problem-solving, creativity.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail.
- Good reading and writing skills in English.
- Ability to interact at a high level with clients.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Computer literacy knowledge of SAP.
