Role Purpose/Business Unit:
To support the Consumer Business Unit (CBU) channels in the prepaid market segment with pricing analysis, reviews, framework, strategy and high level financial models.
Your responsibilities will include:
Specialist pricing support to CBU contract teams
- Support the various prepaid CBU teams with pricing related activities
- Perform high level financial modelling
- Review performance trends and identify opportunities on an on-going basis
- Determine and review price elasticity for prepaid devices, products and services
- Define prepaid pricing frameworks and strategies based on supply & demand, costing and competition factors
- Provide valuable prepaid pricing insights and analysis
- Provide pricing input to detailed financial models and budget/forecasting processes
- Create positive working relations between the CBU channels, prepaid segment and proposition teams, CBU Finance, CVM and Terminals
- Work collaboratively with CBU prepaid market segment and Terminal teams to deliver requirements
- Written material must be of the highest quality with clear insights and actions for executive management
- Communicate and conduct presentations effectively at a senior level
- Prepare and present performance
- Design new and innovative ways of working to strive for continual improvement
- Develop new strategies that will improve prepaid performance
- Previous pricing experience will be beneficial
- Development and in depth understanding of prepaid revenues and direct costs
- Understand elasticity and market trends within the prepaid segment

- Relevant 3-4 year degree
- B. Sc Mathematics, Commerce, Statistics, Econometrics or relevant degree is essential
- 5+ years relevant experience, including 4-5 years management experience
- 5+ years working experience in Sales, Commercial and/or Finance - essential
- At least 2- 3 years in pricing and/or financial modelling - essential
- Understanding of pricing strategies and principles - essential
- Mobile communication experience an advantage
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Financial modelling skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
