Key Role and Responsibilities:
- Define structure and architecture of the Network solution and its interfaces, perform feasibility analysis, keep the solution aligned to the business goals and strategy
- Organise the Network design / plan agreed with the client into a managed service delivery plan
- Translates the high-level Network technical design / solution into low level deliverables.
- Owns the technical Network design and sign-off on all technical designs
- Identify and define the proper project deliverables for each party (including partners) involved in the project and communicate clearly the KPIs, milestone checks and all the measurables
- Documenting and presenting new Network solutions applicable to the business requirement / needs.
- Reviewing the alignment of new network solutions to the architectural principles as defined and documented by the clients architectural forum.
- Review the architectural impact of new network solutions and provide an independent view of risks constraints and recommendations as it pertains to the existing information systems and technical architectures.
- Contribute to the development of a Transformation Network roadmap in order to achieve the future state through gap analysis between the existing landscape an the desired future state.
- Assist with the prioritization and planning of the network roadmap activities to support budget planning and investment decisions.
- Define and drive technical requirements signed off with customer for each new requirement for implementation teams
- Support customer / vendor in terms of technical design / issues / discussion where need arises
- Managing teams to ensure the technical designs are implemented as required.
- Ensure service acceptance testing (SAT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) is properly conducted in an end-to-end manner to ensure billing and payment management
- Conduct proof of concept (POC) tests for proposed technical solution or to resolve existing issues
- Review and work on reducing project cost through higher productivity, the use of tools and streamlining of resources and processes
- Resolve any problems / issues detected in project execution by communicating / negotiating with various parties involved, consultants, vendors, and etc; and/or escalating to higher level
- Raise ordering form / work orders to suppliers / contractors
- Assist pre-sales bid team on technical clarifications with customer if required
- Strong Network Architecture, Design and Implementation experience required.
- Client focused and demonstrate a proactive approach to solving problems
- Able to quickly change direction based on updated client specifications or system limitations
- Expertise in technical consultancy and implementation services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Robust business knowledge
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in a computer science or information technology, computer engineering or similar field
- Cisco Network implementation and Design certifications
- TOGAF or similar architecture certification preferred
- Demonstrated practical experience in technical architecting with networking technologies, preferably from major networking services providers and/or solution providers
- Prior experience in a pre-sales, consulting or client-facing role in a technology function
- Demonstrated experienced in managed services delivery
