Senior PHP Developer (Hospitality/HotelTech)

Role Overview
As the Senior PHP Developer, you will be reporting to the Head of Product and will work with a highly efficient team of developers. You would be writing clean PHP code to a high standard in a timely and scalable way to improve the code-base of products in a meaningful way. You must be confident in writing Vanilla PHP code.
If you are successful, you would need to be able to travel to Cape Town for our onboarding programme for the first 3 months in our beautiful offices.

Requirements
Technical Requirements:
- BSc Degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or Relevant Software Related Qualification
- 5+ years experience working as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Solid experience on PHP 8, MySQL, Sass, Vue.js, Git, and REST
- Knowledge and experience with one or more development methodologies
- Extensive knowledge of software development and its technologies
- Strong knowledge of user interfaces
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills in order to both understand the needs of the project but also give feedback to stakeholders and input to other team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with an international team with international customers in different time zones.
- Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease
- Possess proficient analytical and decision-making skills.
- Fluent in English
