- Assist other process controllers in operating the plant
- Prepare the plant for start-up
- Start up a process
- Monitor and maintain a process
- Shutdown a process
- Control and monitor plant and equipment within the scope of authority
- Operate Pellet Mills outside
- Clean and tidy up equipment and the work area
- Prepare plant for maintenance and reinstate after maintenance is complete
- Carry out authorized maintenance operations
- Measure, mix and dose chemicals to the reaction vessels
- Draw and test samples for quality purposes
- Run off finished product into drums, bags or other containers for shipment
- Act as first line of defence in case of a fire and other emergencies
- Perform any other related tasks as may be required from time to time
