- At least 8 - 10 years’ experience
- At least 5 years’ Petrochemical Industry experience
Job Description
Process Technology-Engineering
- Define, Document, and clarify all operating control parameter (set points, ranges, etc.) for all manufacturing production unit operations
- Manages & updates process efficiency calculator
- Responsible for raw material batch management in production, including carrier lists and solutions
- Reviews plant process data on a daily basis; issues and implements evaluation reports which recommend optimized process performance.
- Establishes and drives programs and projects evaluating the precision and accuracy of production equipment as required.
- Identifies sources of variation in the process and arranges for implementation of improved process control.
Production Support & Projects:
- Collaborate with the production team to trouble-shoot, problem solve, innovate in support of the improvement targets for SHERQ, productivity and reliability.
- Interacts routinely with the Production Team to teach, train, and coach to ensure the entire organization develops process technology-engineering know-how.
- Ensures continuous operations of existing equipment, consistent with the established process control targets, and in conjunction with plant maintenance group and provides technical support to improve performance predictability and reliability.
- Reviews and update technical documentation related to plant design and operation.
- Investigates and troubleshoots plant/process problems and performs Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as related to process issues, when required
- Designs, installs and commissions new production projects and monitors modifications and upgrades including automation improvements.
- Oversees and coordinates the technical aspects of the project, as well as selects, manages, and directs sub-contractors
- Manages the cost and time constraints of projects
