Role Summary

Defines and manages products to support the COEs overall strategy and deliver a differentiated product addressing the market and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• The Product Owner will elicit, facilitate, synthesize, and present technical solutions.
• The candidate will use business requirements to drive the design or review of products, test cases, business process design and define a projects vision, scope, acceptance, and implementation.
• The ideal candidate can work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into usable information, which will help to improve systems and processes.
• Consult various customers (internal and external) to understand their value chain, structure, functions, and products and/or services
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Challenge the business in their thinking, especially to understand the intent of the business requirement.
• With little supervision, elicit, gather, analyze, document, validate and communicate business requirements (Agile and Waterfall Formats)
• Determine the feasibility of a proposed project.
• Understand the commercial importance of changes or new features.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification / IT Degree

Experience

• 6-8 years relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication.
• Logical reasoning and problem solving.
• Customer focused approach to work.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong presentations skills / Power Point presentations.
• Project Management skills

The team will be based in Johannesburg, Gauteng-South Africa; following a hybrid working model.
