Role Summary
Defines and manages products to support the COEs overall strategy and deliver a differentiated product addressing the market and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- The Product Owner will elicit, facilitate, synthesize, and present technical solutions.
- The candidate will use business requirements to drive the design or review of products, test cases, business process design and define a projects vision, scope, acceptance, and implementation.
- The ideal candidate can work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into usable information, which will help to improve systems and processes.
- Consult various customers (internal and external) to understand their value chain, structure, functions, and products and/or services
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Challenge the business in their thinking, especially to understand the intent of the business requirement.
- With little supervision, elicit, gather, analyze, document, validate and communicate business requirements (Agile and Waterfall Formats)
- Determine the feasibility of a proposed project.
- Understand the commercial importance of changes or new features.
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification / IT Degree
- 6-8 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication.
- Logical reasoning and problem solving.
- Customer focused approach to work.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong presentations skills / Power Point presentations.
- Project Management skills
