Senior Specialist, Social Publishing

The Corporate Affairs & Marketing organization acts as a strategic partner to the LSEG business, powering commercial value through an insight led approach that improves the impact of our investment and our relevance in the market.

WHY IS THIS ROLE SIGNIFICANT

The Social Media team, part of the Digital Transformation function, is looking after paid social media campaigns, organic publishing and monitoring, and social strategy and governance. The Senior Specialist, Social Publishing will join a distributed team of social publishers who handle organic social media at LSEG.

The new joiner will help to build, run and support LSEGs official social media presence, working closely with colleagues across Corporate Affairs and Marketing (CAM) and the wider business. Aligned to EMEA business hours, this role requires outstanding social publishing, community management and reporting expertise aligned to LSEGs social media strategy.

TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM
  • Understand social media, marketing and communications fundamentals, including how the tactics connect to marketing strategy and commercial objectives
  • Schedule, publish and supervise organic content across social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.), using both native platforms and third-party tools as part of a 24-hour content cycle (EMEA hours)
  • Support social media employee advocacy, including handling appropriate tools
  • Use social media listening and analysis to inform campaigns and reputation management
  • Evolve best practice and update employee social media guidelines
  • Align KPIs and relevant social media metrics for organic social
  • Understand, facilitate and support brands social media governance and how it relates to community management, including response handling
  • Promote overall success of the team through individual effort, peer partnership and supporting the Manager, Social Publishing and wider Social Media leadership team
  • Proactive approach to professional learning and development for career growth
  • Identify areas of opportunity within the team, processes and operations
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in social media
  • Professional, confident communicator who is used to working with multiple stakeholders/in a regulated, fast-paced social media environment
  • Experience working with large, sophisticated organizations with multiple brands/sub-brands
  • Experience within the B2B, financial sector or regulated industries is an advantage
  • Comfortable working within an apportioned team spread across multiple time zones
