Your focus will be on actively building the pipeline and accelerating revenue growth.
A crucial part of the role will be to have relevant discussions with new and existing clients whilst also presenting and adapting solutions to meet their needs.
Your Role Will Include The Following Functions
- Design and implement a sales strategy for the SA market.
- Manage the sales process from beginning to end, including lead generation, prospection, qualifying leads, presenting value proposition of offering, managing sales pipeline, and closing deals with key decision-makers. Ability to move deals through difference sales stages efficiently.
- Pursue identified new business opportunities through prospecting and networking (Be the contact person for prospective clients and maintain ongoing conversation).
- Researching the target industry to discover prospecting opportunities, along with maintaining updated information about clients and leads to ensure relevant engagement.
- Preparation and management of sales meetings.
- Be able to outline key aspects and value proposition of research solutions offered.
- Be up to date with latest topics and major industry events.
- Regular reporting on leads, opportunities, and pipeline
- Accountability in meeting sales target as agreed.
- Transforming data into compelling marketing content, leveraging data in order to support sales and generate awareness of the product in the broader market.
- Generating marketing content in line with agreed targets
- Development of content that positions the organisation as an industry authority.
- Crafting of social media posts and website content to promote data and insights available
- Working with partners to ensure content is optimised for search engines and user engagement.
- Minimum of 3 years in B2B and/or service-related sales (proven track record in B2B or service sales)
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Marketing (MBA an added bonus)
- Background in research, insights or new business development is preferred.
- CRM proficiency is an advantage but not a must.
